French wine and Cognac small batch Welsh Whisky

Penderyn limited edition selected by Master blender Aistra Phillips. The malt whisky is aged for 6 years in French wine barrels from the Cadillac region, then 4 years in Cognac barrels.

Tasting notes:
Nose: Perfumed with sweet fruit notes, honey and vanilla. With a light hint of nuts.

Palate: Sweet and fruity. Fresh white grapes and pears with some exotic mango and papaya. Lovely baking spices mingle with hints of honey.

Finish: Notes of candied fruits, with spices lingering to finish.
